How and why was the Twister™ system developed?
Answer: HTC Twister™ was developed as a maintenance solution for HTC Superfloor™ (polished concrete). During HTC’s exhaustive testing of the method, it was discovered that it also worked on several other surfaces, and the revolution was born!
Will the Twister™ pad wear out my floor?
Answer: No. What wears out floor materials are gravel and dirt that is dragged around. With HTC Twister™, the floor has a shiny, compact surface that is very easy to keep clean and free from dirt. Tests show that Twister™ does not wear down the surface more than a conventional pad.
Will my Twister™ pad last longer than a conventional pad?
Answer: Generally, yes. It is very important that loose gravel and sand are brushed away from the surface. As a result, HTC recommends that the pad is changed after 35,000 m2 (under ideal conditions).
Do I need a special machine to get a good result with Twister™?
Answer: No. Twister™ works well on the majority of all auto scrubbers and polishing machines.
Do I need a special pad holder for Twister™?
Answer: To work satisfactorily, a flat pad holder with Velcro and without a tension clip in the middle is necessary. Do not use Twister™ with a brush holder.
Can I use Twister™ on both sides?
Answer: No. See the instructions printed on the pad.
Can I use Twister™ on plastic floors if the surface is not coated with polish?
Answer: Yes. But the cleaning/polishing of plastic floors should be done on a wet surface.
Will the shiny Twister™ polished surface make my floor slippery?
Answer: No. The floor does not become slippery, just shining clean and glossy.
